Crankshaft Balancer Removal

• EN 46106  Flywheel Holding Tool
• J 38416B  Harmonic Balancer Remover
• J 384162  Crankshaft Button

1. Install the EN 46106  tool through the starter mounting hole.

2. Remove and discard the crankshaft balancer bolt (1).

3. Install the J 384162  button (2) in the nose of the crankshaft.
4. Install the J 38416B  remover (1) in order to remove the crankshaft balancer.

5. Pull the crankshaft balancer (1) off by tightening the center bolt on the J 38416B  remover until the crankshaft balancer pulls off of the crankshaft end.
6. Remove the J 38416B  remover and J 384162  button from the crankshaft balancer.

7. Remove the EN 46106  tool from the starter mounting hole.
