Preliminary Procedure Open and support the hood. Remove both wiper arm assemblies. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement (V6) or Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement (V8) Remove the hood rear weatherstrip from the air inlet grille upper panel. Refer to Hood Rear Weatherstrip Replacement . Release the passenger side windshield retainer at the windshield far enough to remove only the passenger side panel.
1	Rivet Type Retainer (Qty:3) TIP: Use a small bladed tool in order to release the center of the rivet and pull the entire rivet from the air inlet grille upper panel.
2	Air Inlet Grille Upper Panel Passenger Side
3	Rivet Type Retainer (Qty:6) TIP: Release the center pin and pull the retainer from the plenum hole.
4	Air Inlet Grille Upper Panel Driver Side TIP: Release the windshield washer nozzle hose from the integral clip on the outer side of the air inlet grille panel.
