Component Testing

Heated Steering Wheel

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the X1 harness connector at the heated steering wheel.
  2. Test for 6000-35000 Ω between the signal terminal A and the ground terminal B.
    • If not within the specified range 

      Replace the E15 Steering Wheel Heater.

  3. Test for 1.5-3.0 Ω between the control circuit terminal C and the ground terminal D.
    • If not within the specified range 

      Replace the E15 Steering Wheel Heater.

    • If within the specified range 
  4. All OK.
