Exhaust Manifold Lower Heat Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the exhaust manifold lower heat shield bolts (1, 2).

3. Remove the exhaust manifold lower heat shield.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the exhaust manifold lower heat shield to the engine.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the exhaust manifold lower heat shield bolts (1, 2). Tighten bolt (1) to 10 Nm (89 lb in) and tighten bolt (2) to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).

3. Lower the vehicle.
