Install a NEW backup lamp switch washer on the backup lamp switch (1).

CAUTION:

Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

Install the backup lamp switch (1) into the transmission case, and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Connect the electrical connector to the backup lamp switch (1).
