Installation Procedure

  1. Install the drivetrain and front suspension frame skid plate. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Skid Plate Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Fluid Fill Cap

  2. Lower the vehicle.
  3. Remove the fluid fill cap (1).
  4. Fill the transmission to the proper level with the correct fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check , and Fluid Capacity Specifications (6T30) , Fluid Capacity Specifications (6T40/45/50) .
  5. Install the fluid fill cap (1).
