Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the instrument panel outer trim cover - right side. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Remove the instrument panel molding. Refer to Instrument Panel Molding Replacement - Passenger Side .
  3. Remove the front floor front console. Refer to Front Floor Front Console Replacement .
  4. Remove the right front side door sill trim plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
1 Instrument Panel Compartment Fastener (Qty: 8)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .
2 Instrument Panel Compartment

Procedure

  1. Open the instrument panel compartment door to access all necessary fasteners.
  2. If equipped, remove the instrument panel lower extension compartment panel.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
