Removal Procedure





Note: Place the shift control in NEUTRAL before attempting to remove the shift knob screw.

1. Remove the shift knob retaining screw (2).

2. Remove the shift knob (1) from the shift control lever.

Installation Procedure





Note: Place the shift control in NEUTRAL before attempting to install the shift knob screw.

1. Install the shift knob (1) to the shift control lever.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the shift knob retaining screw (2) and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
