Fuel Tank Protector Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the fuel tank shield retainers (3).

3. Remove the fuel tank shield (2) from the fuel tank (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the fuel tank shield (2) from the fuel tank (1).

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the fuel tank shield retainers (3).

3. Lower the vehicle.
