Heater Core Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the right closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Remove the left closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  3. Remove the rear floor air outlet duct. Refer to Rear Floor Air Outlet Replacement .
1 Floor Air Outlet Cover Screws (Qty: 7)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


TIP:  Remove the heat stakes that secure the HVAC module assembly upper case to the HVAC module lower case using a small chisel.
Tighten 
1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
2 Floor Air Outlet Cover
3 Heater Core Cover Screws (Qty: 7)
TIP:  Remove the heat stakes that secure the HVAC module assembly upper case to the HVAC module lower case using a small chisel.
Tighten 
1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
4 Heater Core Cover
