Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the left catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (LS3) , Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (LS7) .

  3. Remove the transmission fluid cooler pipe bolt (2) from the transmission.
  4. Remove the transmission fluid cooler pipes from the transmission.

  5. Using DT-45201  remover , remove the transmission fluid cooler pipe seals from the transmission.
