Preliminary Procedures Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
1	Surge Tank Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 (89 lb in)
2	Surge Tank Nut Tighten 10 (89 lb in)
3	Surge Tank Procedure Remove the surge tank hoses from the surge tank. Disconnect the electrical connector.
