Removal Procedure

NOTE:

The wheel speed sensor ring is integral to the wheel hub and must be replaced as an assembly.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the rear brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (1500 Series) , Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (2500 Series) .
  4. Remove the rear axle hub. Refer to Rear Axle Hub, Bearing, Cup, and/or Seal Replacement .
