Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) dirty air hose from the intake manifold fitting and left valve rocker arm cover, if required.

  4. Remove the PCV fresh air tube (1) from the air cleaner outlet duct, if required.

  6. Remove the PCV fresh air tube (1) from the right valve rocker arm cover fitting (2), if required.
  7. Remove the appropriate PCV hose/tube from the vehicle.
