Liftgate Adjustment

Procedure

1. Loosen the liftgate hinge bolts (Qty: 4).
2. Adjust the liftgate in order to obtain an even gap on both sides between the liftgate and the quarter outer panel, the rear bumper fascia and the roof and so that the liftgate is flush with the quarter outer panel, the rear bumper fascia and the roof.

Adjustment

• Liftgate to quarter outer panel

  (a) 3.5 mm ± 1 mm (0.14 in ± 0.04 in)

• Liftgate to rear bumper fascia

  (c) 5 mm ± 1 mm (0.2 in ± 0.04 in)

• Liftgate to tail lamp

  (c) 4 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.16 in ± 0.06 in)

• Liftgate to roof

  (d) 5.5 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.22 in ± 0.04 in
