Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement Service and Repair.

2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair.





3. Loosen the inlet pipe clamp (1).





4. Loosen the inlet pipe clamp (1) and remove the inlet pipe (2).

Installation Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the inlet pipe (1) and tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb in)





Caution:
Ensure the pipe clamp position is pointed slightly downward in order to prevent damage to the engine cover insulation.

2. Tighten the inlet pipe clamp (1) to 6 Nm (53 lb in)

3. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair.

4. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement Service and Repair.
