Fuel Tank Draining

CH 45004 - Fuel Tank Siphon Hose

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.

2. Remove the fuel fill cap.

3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

4. Insert the CH 45004 - hoseinto the tank.

5. Attach the CH 45004 - hoseto a hand or air operated pump device.

6. Using a hand or air operated pump drain as much fuel from the tank as possible.
