Water Pump Installation





1. Lubricate the water pump O-ring with engine oil.

2. Install the NEW (4) engine coolant pipe gasket.

3. Install the NEW (3) water pump seal.

4. Install the water pump (2). Be sure the water pump studs align with the coolant tube.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

5. Install the water pump bolts (1) and (5), and nut (6) and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).





6. Install the water pump to coolant tube nuts Tighten the water pump to coolant tube nuts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
