Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir.





2. Disconnect the reservoir outlet hose from the reservoir.





3. Remove the reservoir inlet hose (3) from the reservoir.





4. Remove the power steering pump remote reservoir mounting nuts (4).

5. Remove the power steering pump remote reservoir (3).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the power steering pump remote reservoir (3) to the vehicle.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the power steering pump remote reservoir (4) mounting nuts and tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb in).





3. Install the reservoir inlet hose (3) to the reservoir.





4. Connect the reservoir outlet hose to the reservoir.

5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding Service and Repair.
