70. Valve Lifter Installation

Valve Lifter Installation





1. Apply lubricant GM P/N 12345501 (Canadian P/N 992704) or equivalent, to the valve lifter rollers.

Note:
If reusing the valve lifters, install the valve lifters in the original positions.

2. Install the valve lifters.





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install the valve lifter pushrod guides and tighten to 16 Nm (12 lb ft).
