Shims Inspection

Important:

* The original cast iron production shims can be removed and re-used. If the cast iron shims show signs of excessive wear or damage, they must be replaced with service shims and spacers.


* If service shims were previously installed, the shims can be reused.


Inspect the shims for cracks and chips. Replace the damaged shims.
