Air Temperature Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the heater assembly. Refer to Heater Assembly Replacement Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the air temperature actuator electrical connector.





3. Remove the air temperature actuator retaining screws.

4. Remove the air temperature actuator (1) from the heater assembly (2).





5. Remove the air temperature door (1) from the heater assembly.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the air temperature door (1) to the heater assembly.





2. Install the air temperature actuator (1) to the heater assembly (2).

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install the air temperature actuator retaining screws and tighten to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).

4. Connect the air temperature actuator electrical connector.

5. Install the heater assembly. Refer to Heater Assembly Replacement Service and Repair.
