Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: Radiator Surge Tank And Radiator Surge Tank Clip

  3. Remove the radiator surge tank clip (2).
  4. Remove the radiator surge tank (1) and lay aside.
  5. Place a basin underneath.
  6. Extract as much brake fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir as possible.

  8. Remove the clutch master cylinder reservoir hose (1) from the clutch master cylinder.

  10. Clip the clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (1) out of the 2 retainers (arrows).

  12. Open the retaining clip (arrow).
  13. Disconnect the clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (1) from the clutch master cylinder.

  15. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod from the clutch pedal (3), using the DT-6202-A  pliers and the DT-6202-20  adapters in conjunction with the DT-50894  remover (2), or the DT-6202-B  pliers (1) in conjunction with the DT-50894  remover (2).

  17. Remove the 2 clutch master cylinder nuts (1).

  19. Remove the clutch master cylinder (1).
