Removal Procedure

- Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
- Remove the radiator surge tank clip (2).
- Remove the radiator surge tank (1) and lay aside.
- Place a basin underneath.
- Extract as much brake fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir as possible.
- Remove the clutch master cylinder reservoir hose (1) from the clutch master cylinder.
- Clip the clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (1) out of the 2 retainers (arrows).
- Open the retaining clip (arrow).
- Disconnect the clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (1) from the clutch master cylinder.
- Disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod from the clutch pedal (3), using the DT-6202-A pliers and the DT-6202-20 adapters in conjunction with the DT-50894 remover (2), or the DT-6202-B pliers (1) in conjunction with the DT-50894 remover (2).
- Remove the 2 clutch master cylinder nuts (1).
- Remove the clutch master cylinder (1).
