Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Verify that DTC P0660 is not set.
  2. Command the Intake Manifold Tuning solenoid ON and OFF with a scan tool. You should hear and feel an audible click.
  3. Command the Intake Manifold Tuning Solenoid Valve Open and Closed while observing the control circuit status parameters listed below. The parameters should not display malfunction.
    • Intake Manifold Tuning Control Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status
    • Intake Manifold Tuning Control Valve Control Circuit Open Test Status
    • Intake Manifold Tuning Control Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
  4. Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the freeze frame/failure records data.
