The following conditions can also set the DTC:
- Physical damage to the camshaft sensor or the reluctor wheel
- Worn or loose camshaft sensor or reluctor wheel
- Improper installation of the camshaft position sensor - intake and camshaft position sensor - exhaust or the reluctor wheel
- Foreign material between the camshaft position sensor - intake and camshaft position sensor - exhaust and the reluctor wheel
- Gap between the camshaft position sensor - intake and camshaft position sensor - exhaust and the reluctor wheel is out of range
