Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Vehicle OFF
  2. Disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve.
  3. Test for 7-12 Ω between the control terminal 2 and the low reference circuit terminal 1.
    • If not between 7-12 Ω 

      Replace the Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve.

    • If between 7-12 Ω 
  4. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve housing.
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve.

    • If infinite resistance 
  5. All OK
