Installation Procedure

  1. Install transmission mount (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install 2 transmission mount bolts (1, 3) and tighten to 62 N.m (46 lb ft).
  3. Install transmission mount nut (2) and tighten to 62 N.m (46 lb ft).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

  4. Install 3 NEW transmission mount bolts (1) and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft) plus 60-75 degrees.
  5. Raise vehicle.
  6. Remove the engine support fixture.
  7. Lower vehicle.
  8. Install battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
