Shift Control Housing Seal Replacement

Callout	Component Name
Preliminary Procedures Remove the shift lever and selector lever cable from shift control housing. Refer to Manual Transmission Shift Lever and Selector Lever Cable Replacement . Remove the backup lamp switch. Refer to Backup Lamp Switch Replacement .
1	Shift Control Housing Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
2	Shift Control Housing Procedure After the installation adjust the shift lever and selector cable. Refer to Manual Transmission Shift Lever and Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
3	Shift Control Housing Seal Procedure Install a NEW seal. DO NOT reuse the old seal.
