Shift Control Housing Replacement

Callout	Component Name
Preliminary Procedures Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement . Unclip the shift lever and selector lever cable from shift control housing. Refer to Manual Transmission Shift Lever and Selector Lever Cable Replacement . Remove the backup lamp switch. Refer to Backup Lamp Switch Replacement .
1	Shift Control Housing Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
2	Shift Control Housing Procedure After the installation adjust the shift lever and selector lever cable. Refer to Manual Transmission Shift Lever and Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
