Installation Procedure

NOTE:

During this procedure DO NOT touch or preload the fixed shift lever as this may cause improper adjustment of the shift system.

Secure adjuster locks (1) by pushing down until locked and fully seated. One for each cable.

Remove the DT-527-A adjuster (1) or the 5 mm drill bit from the shift control lever.

Remove the DT-527-A adjuster (1) or the 5 mm drill bit from the transmission gear control.
Install the front floor console storage tray. Refer to Front Floor Console Stowage Tray Replacement .
Install the transmission control lever trim cover. Refer to Automatic or Manual Transmission Control Lever Trim Cover Replacement .
