Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector of the B25B Clutch Pedal Position Sensor.
- Ignition OFF, test for less than 1 Ω between the low reference circuit terminal A and ground.
- If greater than the specified value, test the low reference circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
- Ignition ON, test for 4.8-5.2 V between the 5V reference circuit terminal C and ground.
- If less than the specified range, test the 5V reference circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
- If greater than the specified range, test the 5V reference circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
- Ignition ON, observe the scan tool CPP sensor voltage parameter for less than 0.1 V.
- If greater than the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit test normal, replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
- Install a 3 A fused jumper wire between the signal circuit terminal B and the 5V reference circuit terminal C. Verify that the scan tool CPP sensor parameter is between 4.8-5.2 V.
- If not within the specified range, test the signal circuit for or a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
- If all circuits test normal, test or replace the B25B Clutch Pedal Position Sensor.
