WARNING: While engine is operating, the exhaust system will become extremely hot. To prevent burns avoid contacting a hot exhaust system. Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
1	Engine Oil Heater Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
2	Engine Oil Heater Procedure Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
