Installation Procedure

  1. Install the camshaft cover (1).

    Insert a NEW gasket in the cylinder head cover.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 11 bolts (2, 3) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  3. Install the positive crankcase ventilation tube. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement .

  4. Clip in the ECM wiring harness guide (1) to the cylinder head cover.
  5. Connect the wiring guide (2).
  6. Install the ignition coil. Refer to Ignition Coil Replacement .
  7. Close the hood.
