Removal Procedure

  1. If necessary, remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement (LUJ) , Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement (LUW) .
    2. Fig 1: Closure Bolt

  2. Remove the closure bolt (1).
  3. Clean the thread.
