Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement (Chevrolet)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disconnect the washer hose clip at the right front fender flange.
  2. Disconnect the washer pump hose from the windshield washer hose at the right front fender flange.
  3. Remove the right front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer pump.
1 Windshield Washer Solvent Container Nut (Qty: 3)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  10 N.m (89 lb in)

2 Windshield Washer Solvent Container Assembly

Procedure

  1. Lower and remove the windshield washer solvent container from the right front engine rail and access hole.
  2. Open the container cap and pour the windshield washer solvent into a suitable clean container.
  3. Remove the windshield washer pump hose from the retention clips on the washer container.
  4. Remove the windshield washer pump, and transfer.
  5. Remove the windshield washer container cap, and transfer.
