Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Flywheel & Retaining Bolts

  3. Remove the flywheel.
  4. Fig 2: View Of Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal

    NOTE: Do not damage the outside diameter of the crankshaft or chamber with any tool.
  5. Pry the crankshaft rear oil seal with a flat-bladed tool.
