J 43653:  Flywheel Holding Tool

  1. Ensure that J 43653:  flywheel holding tool is installed and engaging the flywheel to prevent crankshaft rotation.
  2. Remove the flywheel attaching bolts.
  3. Remove the flywheel (1).
  4. Remove the pilot bearing. Refer to Clutch Pilot Bearing Replacement for manual transmission.
  5. Remove J 43653:  flywheel holding tool.
