Camshaft Cover Removal

  1. Remove the bolt and coil.

    IMPORTANT: The PCV hose should not be disconnected from the camshaft cover. The PCV hose and the camshaft cover cannot be serviced individually.
  3. Remove the camshaft cover assembly.
  4. Remove and discard the camshaft cover gasket, camshaft cover grommets, and camshaft cover bolts if they are serviced with the grommets.

  6. Remove the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve bolts.
  7. Remove the camshaft position actuator solenoid valves.
