Removal Procedure

- Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
- Remove the charge air cooler outlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Pipe Replacement
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the pressure transducer.
- Remove the compressor and condenser hose assembly bolt from the compressor.
- Remove the compressor and condenser hose assembly from the compressor.
- Remove and discard the sealing washers.
- Remove the compressor hose from the condenser.
- Remove and discard the seal washer.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the compressor hose nut (1) from the evaporator hose.
- Remove the wiring harness from the compressor hose bracket.
- Remove the bolt (2) from the compressor hose bracket.
- Remove and discard the seal washer.
