Circuit/System Verification

IMPORTANT: When removing connectors inspect for damage or corrosion. Damage or corrosion in the following requires repair or replacement of the affected.
  • PPS module
  • PPS module wiring harness
  1. Verify that the connector from the seat harness to the ECU and the sensor mat pigtail to the ECU are fully seated.
    • If connection is not fully seated, make the connection and verify that the DTC goes history, if the DTC stays current then replace the PPS module.
  2. Verify DTC 1066-1068 is not set in the PPS module.
  3. Verify that DTC 2001-2054 or 202A-202E is not set or has been set in the PPS module.
    • If any of these DTCs are set, replace the PPS module.
