Manual Seat Adjuster Locks Between Lock Positions

Condition Action
IMPORTANT: Replace all seat adjusters as an assembly Replace both sides at the same time.
  • The right adjuster is rearward of the left adjuster.
  • The right adjuster is forward of the left adjuster.
  1. Visually inspect the installed seat to verify that the seat back is parallel to the seat cushion.
  2. Move the seat back until a parallel condition is achieved.
The seat back will not remain parallel. On non-fold flat seats, replace the seat back frame.
