Rear Center Seat Belt

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat cover.
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

Remove the right side seat-back (see SEAT-BACK ).
Remove the right side seat-back cover/pad (see REAR SEAT-BACK COVER REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the screws, then remove the bracket (A).

Remove the screw, then remove the cover (A).

Detach the hooks (A, B), then remove the rear back belt guide trim (C).

Remove the retractor mounting bolts (A, B), then remove the rear center seat belt (C).

Install the center seat belt and retractor in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Tighten the bolts by hand first, then tighten to specified torque.
- Check that the retractor locking mechanism functions as described (see INSPECTION ).
- Before installing the anchor mounting bolt, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the center seat belt.
