Reaction Internal Gear, Input Carrier Disassemble

  1. Remove the thrust bearing (107) from the reaction carrier (562) if the thrust bearing has not been removed.
  2. Remove the reaction internal gear (560) to input carrier assembly snap ring (563).
  3. NOTE: The reaction internal gear and the input internal gear are identical parts. However, these parts are not interchangeable after the transmission has operated in a vehicle.
  4. Remove the input carrier assembly (562) from the reaction internal gear (560).
