Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil level indicator.

  4. Remove the engine harness clip (2) from the oil level indicator tube bracket.

  6. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) compressor/condenser line clip (1) from the oil level indicator tube bracket.

  8. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt.
  9. Remove the oil level indicator tube.
  10. Remove the oil level indicator tube O-ring seals, if necessary.
