J 42067 Rear Main Seal Installer

Remove excess sealer from seal recess.
Make sure the crankshaft rear chamfer is free of grit, loose rust, and burrs. Correct as needed.
Apply a very light film of oil onto the crankshaft sealing surface. DO NOT apply oil to the sealing surface of the engine block.
Using the J 42067 , press the new crankshaft seal into the housing. The J 42067 also establishes the depth of the seal in the crankshaft seal bore.
