Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the wheel drive shaft heat shield bolt at the transaxle mount bracket.
  3. Remove the drive shaft heat shield bolt at the engine block.
  4. Remove the wheel drive shaft heat shield.
