Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wheel drive shaft heat shield into position on the vehicle.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the wheel drive shaft heat shield bolt to the engine block and tighten the bolt to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
  4. Install the wheel drive shaft heat shield bolt to the transaxle mount bracket and tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
