Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Pontiac G5 and 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LNF)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 Fill) .
  2. Lower the vehicle.
  3. Remove the right headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
  4. Reposition the radiator air baffle.

  6. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp at the radiator using J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  7. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator (1).

  9. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp at the engine using J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  10. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the engine (1).
