Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Pontiac G5 and 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

    NOTE: The key should be in the OFF position when connecting the electrical connectors to ensure proper calibration.
  1. Install the mode actuator assembly.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the mode actuator assembly screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2.2 N.m (19 lb in).

  5. Install the mode actuator electrical connector.
  6. Install the air temperature actuator. Refer to Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement .
  7. NOTE: Do not adjust any controls on the HVAC control assembly while the HVAC control assembly and actuators are calibrating. If interrupted improper HVAC performance will result.
  8. Start the engine and let run for one minute.
