Front Brake Hose Replacement (Without RPO LNF)

WARNING: Refer to Bleed Procedure Warning . WARNING: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning . CAUTION: Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution . Preliminary Procedure: Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
1	Brake Pipe Fitting CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Cap or plug the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination. After the installation is complete, bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Rear Brake Caliper - Cobalt SS) or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) . Tighten: 19 N.m (14 lb ft)
2	Brake Hose Bracket Bolt Tighten: 25 N.m (35 lb ft)
3	Brake Hose Tip: The brake hose bracket and retaining clip are replaced as an assembly with the brake hose.
4	Brake Hose Fitting Bolt Tighten: 48 N.m (35 lb ft)
5	Brake Hose Gasket (Qty: 2) Procedure Discard the brake hose gaskets. During assembly, install new brake hose gaskets.
